Privacy policy

Effective October 25, 2026

tik publishing ("tik") is a private production tool operated by the owner of the domain pipo.us ("the operator"). It is used only by the operator, to release the operator's own videos to the operator's own YouTube channels. This policy explains what Google user data tik accesses and how it is handled.

Google user data tik accesses

When the operator signs in with Google, tik asks for these permissions:

tik accesses only the channels of the operator's own Google account. It does not access the data of any other person, and it does not collect personal information from viewers or commenters beyond what the YouTube API shows to the channel owner.

How the data is used

The data is used only to provide tik's visible features: uploading and describing videos, showing their performance to the operator, and deciding which episodes to make next. It is not used for advertising, not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Storage and security

The sign-in credential (an OAuth refresh token) is kept in a restricted configuration file on a private server operated by the operator. Access to that server and to the tik console requires a login. Performance numbers read from YouTube are kept in a private database on the same server. Nothing is published or shared from these records.

Retention and deletion

Credentials and performance numbers are kept only while the operator uses tik. The operator can revoke tik's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which tik can no longer reach the channels and its stored credential is deleted. To ask for deletion of any other data, write to unn@pipo.us.

Google API Services User Data Policy

tik's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

tik uses YouTube API Services. By using tik you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
